The aim of this paper is to study the unwanted chaotic oscillation that can severely affect reliable and safe operation electrical power systems. dynamical behavior a benchmark three-bus nonlinear system model explored using modern analysis methods, where Lyapunov exponents spectrum, bifurcation diagram, spectral density bicoherence are used investigate in system. shows existence critical parameter values may drive an unstable region expose bus voltage collapse angle divergence or blackout. To eliminate oscillation, fractional-order fixed time sliding mode controller has been control finite be predetermined by designer. theorem prove stability controlled results confirm superiority, robustness, effectiveness suggested algorithm.
